NoCUT Publisher Description

NoCUT is a windows system service to block ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) poisoning attacks, also known as ARP Spoofing attacks, Caused by hackers on local networks, and even ISP networks. Hackers utilize tools like Net-Cut and such to block a computer's communication with the gateway, thus, preventing access to the Internet/other networks. This program fights such tools, helping you eliminate this problem permanently.

This is done by intercepting ARP requests from other computers to the gateway, replying with a false response 'typically, an invalid MAC address', then, the victim's computer, unsuspecting, stores the invalid value into it's 'ARP Cache' Table, and start using it for new requests/packets, when the packets are sent, they simply timeout, due to the fact they never reach anywhere!

So, this attack could be simply harmless for an Operating System that validates its 'ARP Cache' entries before storing them, or an Operating System that doesn't use 'ARP Cache' at all.

The problem is, for instance, The default 'ARP Cache' entry's life time in 'Windows' is Ten Minutes!

Meaning is, at the point your PC recives an ARP response, it'll spend 10 Minutes holding it without any changes and using it.
