 How
to recover corrupted Zip files with Zip repair tool?
The most popular way to carry large files is to Zip them
with WinZip and then easily transfer them over the Internet.
However, Zip files are quite sensitive and very often get
corrupted while downloading from the Internet.
Generally, the reason for corruption is minor modification
in settings or errors during download. WinZip scans the
files for integrity; if it finds any alterations, it rejects
the whole file as corrupted, although the file is not actually
corrupted. WinZip will not extract files even if the modification
is minor.
In order to recover your corrupted Zip files, please follow
the below mentioned procedure:
Step1. Please download Stellar
Phoenix Zip Recovery and install it.
Step2. Run the software by clicking Start->Programs->Stellar
Phoenix Zip Recovery->Stellar Phoenix Zip Recovery -
this will launch the main user interface shown below.
Step3. Click Open icon  on
the Toolbar or click Open Zip File option in the File menu.
Open dialog box shown below will popup.
Navigate to the zip file, select it and click Open.
The zip file will be scanned and added to the tree structure
(as shown below).
Step4. Click Repair and Save icon
 on
the Toolbar or click Repair & Save option in the File
menu. Save window will popup, here you have to specify save
option, repaired file option and path for the repaired file
and click Save. By default, Save All Files, UnCompressed
File and Default Path options will be selected(as shown
below).
File(s) will be repaired and saved to the default/specified
location.
