Max Registry Cleaner More Other Information

How do I remove Invalid Registry Entries from Registry?

After scanning is done, Max Registry Cleaner will prompt a message window to ask you if you want to delete the detected entries.

If you click on Delete button, it will delete the detected entries. If you don't want to delete any invalid entry, click on Cancel button. You can also delete the detected entries by selecting the entries and clicking on the Delete button on the main product interface.

The software takes the backup of the registry entries that are deleted which you can recover or delete.

Click on the Recover option present on the main interface of the Max Registry Cleaner. As soon as you click on the Recover button, Recover window will open up which will show the entries that are deleted.

Check the Select All check box and click on the Delete button this will permanently delete the deleted backed up entries.

What is the Export Option and when should I use it?

Export option present on the main interface of the Max Registry Cleaner allows the users to send their registry scanning log reports to our Research team.

This log contains the information about the scanned invalid registry entries on users PC and their present status with few other file/registry entries. This helps our Research team to review the issues on users PC.

When you click on the Export button, a new window opens up containing the report to be sent to the Research team. You can enter your Email address and (optionally) add any comments before hitting the "Click Here To Send Log" button. This information helps our Research team track the report and contact you if necessary.

You will not receive any confirmation email or response to this report in the normal course. However, if our Research team determines that some entry on your system is particularly harmful and needs to be fixed immediately they will contact you via the email address you provided.

The same report can also be found in text file format at the location - C:\Program Files\Max Registry Cleaner\Log\ScanLog.txt (Here C: is the drive where your operating system is installed)

What is Defrag option?

The registry is much like any program or table of information, which stores data in a specific way. As your system is configured and reconfigured, the registry rearranges the keys, and data behind the keys, so that it reads the information in appropriate way for processing. Sometimes this can leave gaps between the data, which can slow the processing of required information.

Using defragmentation option in Max Registry Cleaner, you can eliminate registry fragmentation thereby giving you a fresh new registry with no redolent or obsolete data. This defragmentation of registry will speed up your system, which improves system response time and ensures better user access time.

What is the meaning of Threat levels?
